I hate dieting
Who doesn't hate dieting? I lost about 20 lbs. 6 years ago, and I have had to work SO hard to keep it off all this time. I have to workout about 5 times a week. I have to watch what I eat EVERY day, and I am so tired of it. I just want to be able to eat what I want when I want. I want to eat a hot fudge sundae after dinner every night. I want to be able to snack on jordan almonds all day long. I want to munch on chips and dip when I feel like it. I want to be able to drink orange juice with my breakfast every morning. I want to have a coke when I feel like it. Oh yeah, and I want dessert after lunch too. But, alas, I can not do these things if I want to stay at a healthy weight.
So, I will continue to drink ONLY water every day. I will eat my wheaties with skim milk in the morning without any orange juice. I will indulge in ONLY 5 jordan almonds a day. I will ONLY have a popsicle for dessert each night. I will banish all cookies and chips from my house. I will make myself go running each morning. I will only eat out once a week.
Now, eating out is the ONE time where I eat what I want. So, on our Saturday night date, I had the following amazing dinner: 2 rolls with olive oil, 2 artichoke raviolis, part of an amazing filet mignon, some walnut crusted flounder, and 1/2 of a chocolate cherry torte. The memory of this meal will need to stay with me for this whole week because nothing that good will touch my lips for the next 7 days.
